Messed up textures [message #69454]

Hey guys, I recently started creating helmets and suck for fable. However I started on a helmet all went well imported into fable and applied the texture. However this time the texture seems to have messed up allot and is almost completely black apart from two white lines.. I have no idea why this is happening and have tried to fix it but nothing I do changes it. I was using 3ds max to make this.
There is a picture to show what I mean. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Smile

. Btw ignore the out of place model, i plan to sort this after i can get the texture applied correctly :/

The picture doesn't really help determine the problem. It could be that your UV coordinates were flipped. Could you provide us with the texture and model maybe? In an fmp would be fine.

Here you go, the helm does not appear in FE (presuming its to high to see in the preview window) for some reason but its in the right position on the hero weirdly.
I just replaced the mesh of another object I had done which worked out fine, so the name will still be something like : MESH_HERO_DEAD_SPACE_HELM
and the texture is : TEXTURE_ARTORIAS

Idk dude there's some mystery shit going on nowadays... First self-rotating models and now this?

oooooh wait I gave you a non positioned mesh that I was messing around with earlier and messes up completely in game. Try this one, i don't know if it will help with the problem as the texture still dosent work but its better than the last file as i dont think that one had skinweights Razz

Wow...just found out what it was...For some reason the models uv map just screws up as soon as I exported the model..wtf is going on lol.
Will try mess around with it to see if I can get it to work :/
