I do have a corrupted save in my possession. What people say is that if you save a ton of times it corrupts your save. This is of course not fully true. I haven't had the full time to rip this save apart but from early reading it seems that the size of this save is the problem. 1.44 MB is the initial decompression size of the second chunk in the save I have. All this data is still compressed with a weaker zlib. This is compared to a 200kb save that I usually have, you can see the dramatic difference.

Thanks to someone over at Lionhead boards there is a temp fix. This concept is applied to xbox just as well.

What I assume is happening is when it tries to merge the Quest Save with the Hero Save it simply cannont merge the two together due to a file size problem with the Hero Save file being so large. If this is the case it will be a fun fix indeed. The Xbox is also signed so just a little bit more fun Wink

I know, I still don't have a definite answer on the save issue. In time I guess... Rolling Eyes

::Edit:: found the culprit in the save I have. Bowerstone Slums decompresses to around 90mb all of it being contained in CTCHeroReceiveItems (all text of objects etc). So um yeah...yikes
