1. Did you make sure all of the files were removed when you reinstalled previously? Try uninstalling the game, deleting the "Program Files/Microsoft Games/ Fable - The Lost Chapters" (default). If you installed mods then a lot of the files will remain here, and won't be overwritten when you reinstall.
2. If you did, try installing the game in a different directory to the default. E.G, Program Files/Fable.
(If I sound like im treating you like a noob or something, it's because I don't know how much you know and it's better safe then sorry Razz

)
