well that solved my newly aquired problem but the problem with Cbox and AE still stands. I changed the mypath back to the folder for Fable TLC in Cbox.ini but it still didn't work.

if you set the MyPath and it still didn't work, as per the crash, then it's not a registry issue. It goes a bit deeper than that, to where, I don't know really. Confused

There might still be something wrong with the prequisites or the overall setup, like Vista and I can't help with that.
