Dude, it IS simple, especially if you have gimp. Load up a blank image in gimp, go into the colors menu, click color to alpha, choose white, boom, your image is alpha. Load it in place of your will line textures,(after making backups) and you're good to go. If that ain't simple, I dunno what is.
