Daytime pics are always better. And I believe that there's a variable in CDoorDef for the type of door which determines how the door behaves. If the door is only meant to function as a barrier that opens/closes and not meant to teleport the Hero anywhere, then EntranceConnectedToUID shouldn't matter at all.
