Hello everyone! I've been fiddling around with creating chests. I made four chests and tucked them away in the Library Arcanum (the Heroes' Guild Demon Door).
This doesn't add any new items or change any textures or anything. It just adds some chests as sort of a "strong from start" option.
There are four chests:
Contents 1) The chest closest to the entrance contains all haircut style cards, all beard style cards, all mustache style cards, all tattoo cards, the Rod of Champions, a spade, and thirty Silver Keys.
2) The next chest contains all legendary weapons save the Sword of Aeons and Avo's Tear.
3) The third chest is the "Good" chest. It contains the Bright Will User suit, the Bright plate suit, the Bright Wizard Hat, and Avo's Tear.
4) Finally, the chest farthest away from the entrance is the "Evil" chest. It contains the Dark versions of the armor in the Good Chest as well as the Assassin suit.
It also contains the Masked Hood by JohnDoe. If you don't have it, don't worry; it will be skipped over, it won't cause any errors. I didn't want to ruin the end-of-game choice, so the Sword of Aeons is not in the "Evil" chest. However, I realize some of you may want the sword so there are two different versions of the file (only use one).
This is a simple .tng file you can import using Fable Explorer. I haven't used FreeRoam, and I'm afraid I therefore don't know if this works with that. It should. Anyway, using FE: Installation 1) Unzip the file
2) Open FE
3) Double-click on "FinalAlbion.wad"
4) Click on the plus by the 0 to expand
5) Double-click on "DemonDoor_Guild.tng"
6) Under "Entry Data" select "Export"
7) Save the file somewhere under the same name (DemonDoor_Guild.tng)
8) Open the "DemonDoor_Guild.tng" you just saved in a text editor
9) Open the version of my file you'd like to use in a text editor
10) Copy the information in my file (CTRL+C) and paste it into the DemonDoor_Guild.tng file (CTRL+V). Make sure you paste underneath "XXXSectionStart NULL;"
11) Save "DemonDoor_Guild.tng"
12) Back in Fable Explorer, under "Entry Data", click "Import"
13) Import the edited "DemonDoor_Guild.tng"
14) Click "Apply Changes"
15) Under the "Actions" dropdown menu click "Save Mods and Run Fable"
Though I've tested these, if they don't work for any reason uninstalling them is simple. Uninstallation 1) Repeat steps 2-8 under "Installation"
2) Find the four chest scripts you added from my file
3) Simply delete them
4) Follow steps 11-15 under "Installation"
(Note that if you have already opened a chest, the opened chest will not disappear. If you installed the Masked Hood, this will not remove it.) You should always back up your files just in case.
Here are two screenshots. One of them is of the positions of the four chests. The second is of the Masked Hood, simply because I think it's wonderful and recommend it to everyone.
Note: All four chests can be targeted and opened. However, the "Good" and "Evil" chests are positioned to where you will have to use your Guild Seal, or save and load, to get back down. You have to be committed to the chest you choose! (Or you can ruin it and open both...)
