I've created a little mod with a chest containing 50 weapons (master, legendary and miscellaneous), and a chest containing all clothing and all style cards.

The chests are just outside the guild. If you exit the guild, the left one contains the weapons, the right one contains the clothing and style cards.

The mod won't work if you have used the FreeRoam App.

Meaning you need the FinalAlbion.wad intact. (You CAN use this if you have used the Free Roam FMP.)

All you need is Fable Explorer (get it here).

How To:

1. Back up your 'FinalAlbion.wad' (found in Fable\data\Levels\...)

2. Start Fable Explorer.

3. Click 'File' and 'Load Fable Mod Package'

4. Select the 'weapons and stylecards.fmp'

5. Click 'Actions' and 'Save Mods and run Fable'

6. Wait till Fable starts.

7. Go to the lookoutpoint just outside the guild, open the chests, and work that left mouse button...

All of the added weapons are lagging my weapons screen up really bad. Takes 3 minutes just to open it. How do I get rid of the weps?

Man, this mod sucks horribly. All it did to me is lag me up. Plus, the maker of it doesn't want to help, so now I have to restart my Fable TLC profile..

Backing-up your fable files before going nuts with modding is just common sense. Don't go blaming others for your mistakes.
Plus, if I remember correctly, you can just pull the files off the discs directly, though I'm not completely sure about that one.

Theres no problems with your mod its pikmins inventory, why do you have a high numbered inventory then open boxes full of items?? just go to a shop and sell

There's an error for me though. It works fine when i load it but then when i try to save it and launch fable it lags and a window pops up saying something about microsoft .net framework and not being able to access finalalbion.wad. Then when i try to load the FMP again this pops up:

Error Loading FMP
The index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less then the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index

Can someone help?

backed up my files, downloaded, opened in fable explorer, hit save mods and run fable and i recieved the following error message:

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Fable - The Lost Chapters\data\levels\FinalAlbion.wad' is denied.

I pressed continue, then save mods and run fable, game started up, i recalled to lookout point, but no chests were there. Can anyone help me out here?

Yes, but you have to make a save after you've installed the mod and have been to the lookoutpoint. Then you can use the freeroamapp.

First make sure there are no other applications using the finalalbion.wad (you can't have fable running), second; make sure you've got full rights as a user under windowsa when you're running fable explorer.

1. The creater might not know this would create lag as he may have a better computer than you, therefor he would be unaware that having a lot of weapons could cause lag.
2. If you had read the instructions, the creater clearly stated that you should backup the file to reverse this.

For some reason this mod always crashes for me when opening the chest that has all stylecards, and clothes.
When it shows fire assasin boots, i click next. And the game freezes totally.

I once got all items, but forgot to save before exiting.

okay, when i push next rapidly, i get text Archons war boots (or something?) then it freezes

yes, black plate, groo's katana, horns removal, weapon pack 1, rich wives and basic weapon pack

edit // okay i fixed my problem, after thinking about it for a while. i downloaded archon's armors reskin by droded.
now it works perfectly, expect the boots looked first like a nice big white box

I have an issue with the mod. Included in the mod is jacks mask. Well once it's there, it's there for good. Is there anyway to not take that one mask? or is there a way to make it removable?

I think getting all the armor in one is a little off, and unbalancing. But I can't use the weapons one, because my game crashes on the Solus Greatsword still! from TOA

open the object in fable explorer and in the main object entry there is a thing labeled removable change the number from 1 to 0 or from 0 to 1 whatever the opposite of the one there is

I doubt it's going to released on PC, and with Hunter (the guy who made FE) not making Fable Explorer where in a bind. No one knows how to do it besides him. And Fable 2 we can't mod becuase not enough people have Xbox 360s, and even if they do, I don't think they're willing to mod it.

Kid, I don't care for Xbox. Its PC all the way. If Fable 2 is not made for PC it will be a travesty. Games of this calibre are only fully enjoyed on PC.

To do it you'd either have to find a way to load files directly off the hard disk as we did with the original xbox or put up with having to burn a fresh copy of the game each time a mod was installed.

In Fable Explorer Where "OBJECT" is what is the name for that really long black sword that was in the box? I'd like to edit it. I can't figure it out myself since I'm now getting "ACCESS DENIED" errors every time I try it though I haven't ever used the Free Roam App.

I think access denied is a permissions issue, or at least more so than not.

Few questions for tyfly:
Are you a limited user on your comp?
Are any of your Fable files or fmp files read-only?

I don't think you can make changes to anything in Program Files if your a limited user, and read-only files don't like to be changed.

It did not work at all for me I downloaded the mod and when I loaded it and pressed save mods and run Fable it says that FE has stoped responding and then it closes down and I have to open it again but it still wont work...help

sorry.I was trying to load this mod.what I did was download the mod and then I clicked *file* then*load fable mod package* then I selected the mod and once it was done doing whatever I clicked actions then save modes and run Fable.Then what happened was it said FE was not responding and had to close..thats all I did...it also happens when I try to load other mods

Did you look in the right place? There should be two chests right outside the guild.

Dude, I'm telling you, I haven't used ANY mods. AT ALL. My bro used to play this game, and he downloaded the fmp and loaded it, and the chests were a few feet from the boasting platform. When I load it up they ain't there.

Fixed it. I'm using Vista on a laptop I got for Christmas and the laptop was denying the program access to the FinalAlbion.wad file. The solution: right-click the Fable Explorer shortcut and select "Run as administrator" and it'll work fine.

For future reference, if you run Vista, don't even bother to post about problems with FE. It should be a very simple thing, there are four ways that I know of to get FE to work on Vista.

However, you could have made it your priority to use the search function, because I know you didn't think you were the only Vista user in the world.

Even a search as simple as "Vista" would have shown you plenty of posts from plenty of people with the exact same problem.
What you also would have found is a bunch of posts giving solutions to this problem.

A recent one, which is mine actually, is this one.

Such vagaries as "it dont work" doesn't cut it here.

We need details, be as specific as possible.

If you are loading an fmp when you get the error, which fmp was it? (Provide name and link)
If you are not loading an fmp, what are you changing?
What method are you using?
What kind of error was it?
When does the error occur?
If a JIT (Just-In-Time) debug error is provided, copy and paste it here.
If some other error is provided, but is short, please post a pic (no bmps).

bit of trouble with this mod, and ill try to explain

i downloaded the mod, with all the weapons and stuff, but i also have a reskin thingy for assasins outfit, will robe stuff, just changing what they look like a little, and a reskin for my characters eyes and actual skin. and i also have a ageing slowdown mod on as well... playing the game, after getting out of the guild, my character has this rainbow skin thats made of little squares. then when i go to open the box with the tattoos and stuff, once it gets to the will boots, the game crashes and plops me down on my desktop. happens every time.

do i need help from you guys or a therapist?

Possibly both.

This issue is not a problem with this mod but rather the textures, and it can be a number of things. I suggest you use a clean textures.big (you can grab the original off your retail discs).

i have a problem with this mod... every time i get to the Solus sword in the box the screen goes black and the game crashes... could anyone help me with this problem? i'm using the freeroam.fmp and not the freeroam app. and also i have the Amber wepons pack and the Trials of Albion and No Silver Key Need mods since you might want to know that...

hey i have just loaded FE onto my computer and this was the first mod i am trying (however i have used FE in the past) i am not using FreeRoam and have not yet modded anything else. My problem is that Fable crashes every time i try to enter lookout point. having read through all the other posts i discovered no one else has yet to report this problem. Any ideas?

Edit: after one time of it crashing i opened Fable again in safe mode and it worked fine. thanks for the mod it looks great

Thank you for the great mod! I really like The Harvester and the Master Repeater. They might have been actually in the game once but the designers probably removed it because it is a bit overpowered. The strangest things are the bombs. There is Whispers one, a normal bomb and Lightning bomb. The bombs dont appear in your inventory but apart from that, excellent mod!!!!!!

this keeps crashing my game. ive already un-installed and installed a few times. it crashes where u get the stick from the guildmaster. ive followed the instructions but still no luck. any idea how to fix this?

i had the problem with the stik too with a other weapon package mod. just play the game with no mods instald until jou leave the guild for the first time. than save and than try to instal this mod. (it workd for me with the other mod)

Then you didn't use Freeroam correctly and your game still uses the FinalAlbion.wad.

Hey I'm new here and I wanted to start using mods and I don't have that free roam thing but when I try to save mod and run fable an error pops up that says: Windows cannot find 'splash.exe'
Any help would be much appreciated.

Okay I got it working no problem, after I posted this I clicked okay on the error fable started up and boom there were the chests, awesome mod thanks.

Hey man, this is a really nice mod, I especially like the Archon armour set. Anyway, once I put on Jack of Blades mask, I cannot take it off. Any idea why?

Because that's how the mask works.

You can make it removable, however.

That is how the game is by default. The point is when you put it on you are possessed or whatever and are stuck with the choice you made.

It's pretty easy to make removable, in fact I released one that you could take off and that reacted to your alignment as well. Not sure if it's still here though.

*EDIT* It turn's out it is still here and is exactly what was linked to in the previous post.
